| Innes Sculpture Studio was established by Innes Indreswari Soekanto in 1993. Together with several sculptors, this workshop has produced a series of Commission Art such as limited sculpture (for indoor and ourdoor as well as urban spaces), limited edition lamps, stained glass, street furniture, tapestry, landmark and sign systems for personal as well as corporate, in domestic and overseas. Description of the artwork is as below : Lengthwise 17Cm, Width 13,5 Cm Height_155, 141 and 109 Cm Weight 50Kg The artwork is made from sonokeling wood, done with wood carving technique. The figures inside are made from terracota and stand 5 cm high. The world is being devided into squares, as each person demands privacy, creating certain rooms. This artwork is an ilustration of how humans inhabit their private rooms, which is actually part of the entire big room. The key to the private room is love. If all humans can understand love then comfort and perfection in life would be easily achieved. This artwork consists of 3 cupboards with 3 different heights. The three cupboards represent the 3 private rooms that belong to a human, which are: their selfs, others and their creator. Each door represents the icon of a circle, which carries the meaning of perfection, the heart represents love and the key hole is a sign of the opening key.
